Twitter is a very popular online free social networking program. Our ICT teacher uses it for posting information about ict and computers. If we use a new program or experiment with new sites he posts what we have done and links the tools we used.

Kindle Reader

The Amazon Kindle, is a new electronic device , which allows you to read complete books on a screen much like an iphone or laptop screen. This new device can save time, space and money! if you are a frequent reader, why waste time buying hundreds of books when you can have close to 300, 000 books on this mini hand held library. This allows you to save time because of the fast access to any book of your choice without leaving your room. And lets not forget the money! this hand held has cheaper prices for books than going to a bookstore which can be a ripoff. Many kids hate reading books and find themselves falling asleep. This device thanks to its electronic features will make reading fun for kids and even adults.
This device will definitely change the way most people read.

OLPC XO Laptop

Last year, the students in this course held a fundraiser to buy two XO Laptops. These laptops have been designed for use by students in third world countries. They are given to students to take home where in some cases they might be the only source of light. The class kept one laptop, the other was donated to the OLPC program.

The XO contains many innovative features such as a daylight visible screen, a flash drive, mesh networking and a large collection of pre-installed software.
